A few thoughts on my job.

So I suppose I should write something…here…on my blog.

what a novel idea.

I was inspired to write because of the lovely recent blogs of my dear friend Kim.

What’s new in my life? job. marriage. Jesus changing me every single day.

I started this blog during a journey - a journey of growing up to be a woman - a woman who speaks and lives with both grace and truth.

Little did I know that grace and truth would be so crucial!

You see, my job (and i seriously get paid to do this awesome thing?) is at NewSpring Church. I’m the follow-up coordinator. And it’s awesome.

What’s a Follow-Up Coordinator? I’m so very glad you asked.

You see, I answer emails. NewSpring’s emails. Lots of emails. And it’s an adventure. Everyday is different. Every email is different.

I type to those who are hurting. I type to those who are searching. I type to people who are experiencing the best of days and the worst of days. I try to answer questions. I try to provide answers. With grace. With truth. Because He was fully both.

Some days are easy. Some days are hard. Often days my heart is heavy and light. But everyday I am challenged by grace and truth…equally. Each email is a chance to learn about God’s heart for people…and for me. He keeps His promises to His people. Do I believe what He says for His children?

I must believe. In grace. In truth. In Christ and His power to provide for all those who email in.

Like I said. I get paid for this? To speak truth in love to others?

Yeah. Blessings. My immeasurably more.

Just a few thoughts on what I do…from a person who types all day.

Grace and Truth.

I heart Maru. You should too.

Time to stock up…

intro…

Just a few words to introduce myself.

I live in Anderson, SC and Ephesians 3:20 is so true. My life is immeasurably more than I could have asked for or imagined.

So there’s this boy. He asked me to dinner when I was 16 and 5.5 years later he had another question which he asked on one knee. I said “yes” and we were married on April 24, 2010. He’s my best friend and my hero. He loves and cherishes me more than I deserve.

I’m currently interning at NewSpring Church. I am the Follow Up Coordinator and Food Team Leader. I answer a lot of emails and coordinate meals for people who need them. I love my job and the amazing people I work with.

I am blessed beyond belief. I can only hope that each day is a reflection of His glory.

Not to us, O Lord…not to us…
